Dear readers!

This coming Tuesday the time has come! At 08:00 we will gather at departure hall 1, desk 5, to brave the plane for many hours to come, with the result: arrival in the Dominican Republic. The suitcases are almost completely packed by now.

The last sermons, testimonies and studies are being finished off, and of course there is quiet time with God, to be full, full, full of Him. Because thankfully we are not going alone: God is coming with us, and I (Marlon, who will be writing the blog), Marien (group leader) and Marjan (the other group leader) already noticed that this morning, when we were blessed and sent out at our church, De Schuilplaats.

God spoke through one of our fellow church members that Marien will represent the authority of God, that I will bring the Kingdom (with the colour purple) and that Marjan will be the voice of God. It is going to be a blessed and exciting time! Will you pray with us for unity within the team: that we will move together, strengthen, support, build up and encourage one another and complement each other where needed? That there will be open doors and that people's hearts will be prepared for our message? And of course for a smooth journey; the flight is very long already and of course we do not fancy any delays! Thankfully films, playlists and games have been downloaded to keep ourselves entertained as long as possible, haha ;-)
