Fourth day
This morning some of us started with a lovely dip in the pool, so that we could then pray for the day refreshed. Then we went to the church to lead the Sunday service. Karel began with a message about the Kingdom, stressing that God has made so much more available than we sometimes think, for everyone who hungers and thirsts after righteousness. This was very edifying, and we were also able to minister to the church in prayer, during which many were shaking under the power of the Holy Spirit. Marjan was able to flag to open heaven over the meeting, and she did so very passionately. After the service we were again able to encourage people and teach them about the dominion God has given us, as His image. We also prophesied over them, and the sick were healed.
We were invited to lunch at the home of one of the pastor's sons, who offered for us to stay in his house next time. After a long journey from this house in the small tuk-tuk, with a partly wooden bench and a seriously wooden backside as a result, we arrived at the gypsies, where we were able to lead a children's service.
During the children's service we performed a wonderful drama piece with an actor (Karel) who played even better than Leonardo DiCaprio. It was hilarious, but at the same time very clear, and every child responded by praying to God and thanking Him for His forgiving power. After this we sweated buckets dancing with the children and teaching them some dance moves. We thoroughly enjoyed the joy and enthusiasm of all these children. Then a drama piece about being filled with the Spirit, after which we also had the children pray for healing for the sick. To finish, we handed out blankets to every child and some adults.
On the way back in the tuk-tuk we were able to enjoy the testimonies Prabha shared about her life. She told us she has been stoned several times and beaten with sticks, and bears scars in her body for Jesus. Last year she still had a wound on her face from it. She taught us to respond in love and, like Jesus, the Lamb, to be silent and take the hardships upon ourselves, so that these people come to see what true love is.
After a long, wet, sweaty and stuffy journey, heavenly of course with singing and speaking in tongues, we were able to listen to Marien, who preached about the healing of the soul through the healing power of Jesus. He testified about a girl who was receiving help from a psychiatrist and had nightmares every night, but no longer had them after her deliverance and healing. During the prayer almost everyone was deeply touched, and you could see tears running down everyone's cheeks while the Holy Spirit poured out His healing power. After this we of course enjoyed a spicy meal, because we had not perspired enough yet.
