Saturday 3 June

Today was another very special day. This morning we went into town to order rice, which would be delivered to the church. After ordering, we went to the church. There we prayed for one of our interpreters. We told her that she is a queen and may reign with Jesus, because the Lion of Judah lives in her. As a prophetic act we placed a crown on her head and a mantle around her shoulders. We received a word of knowledge that she was carrying a yoke on her shoulders and needed to forgive someone. That turned out to be true. She declared that she forgave her mother-in-law. After praying and breaking the yoke off her shoulders, she said she felt the yoke was gone from her shoulders. The pressure was gone. Thank You, Jesus! "For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

We heard the tuk-tuks arriving with very large sacks of rice. We repacked it into smaller bags. In the end we had 180 bags of rice to hand out. We rode in the tuk-tuks to another gypsy neighbourhood, where we handed out rice and Bible verse cards. We also prayed for a great many people. We blessed them and prayed for healing. We prayed for a man who was lame in one leg. A few weeks earlier it had been prophesied that God would heal knees. After prayer the man could jump with both legs and kissed Marien on the face. That is how excited he was!

People also crowded around us to have their photo taken with us.

After the visit to the gypsy neighbourhood we rode back home. On the way we handed out Bible verse cards to people in tuk-tuks as we passed each other on the road.

To cool off we took a dip in the sea. There were big waves, and we were the only ones who went into the water in swimwear. Apparently Indians cannot swim (well). So there we were, running into the waves like crazy Dutch people ;)

We are grateful for what God has done through us again today and are looking forward to tomorrow!
