Second day

Today was an eventful day. The night was very short, the schedule went differently than expected and we constantly had new impressions to process. This morning we went to a church where mainly women were present. The meeting began with a prophecy, and a woman wept because God saw her in her pain and rejection. Then we prayed for healing, and she was healed of knee pain and back pain. After that Karel received a word of knowledge about a left arm, and several people had trouble with that. Then we all ministered in healing and prophecy.

When this was over, Marjan began to preach about the preciousness of a woman and how she was created as the crown of creation. Marien also ministered to the women on the theme "the broken-hearted". Peace and love were truly tangible.

After this we had a delicious meal, although the food, Indian style, was (a bit) very spicy. At a certain point Laurine noticed the heat was building up, and that it was not the fiery red chicken but the rice that was the culprit. Then we could rest for a while, and the ladies went to the sea for their well-known photo shoot. The men had a good sleep with the air conditioning on in the room.

In the evening we went to a Bible study evening, where we preached on the theme of foot washing, being the least and 'Kingdom culture'. We ended by washing the feet of every brother and sister, and the Indian people also began to wash each other's feet, including ours. The pastor said this was not customary in their culture and did not want to take part, but the Holy Spirit thought otherwise and moved the people to join in anyway. We wept and were able to pray for one another while washing feet. God's beating heart for these ‘least’ was so tangible and palpable.

At the end we were also able to hand out large portions of rice. Then we had a delicious meal at the home of one of the pastor's sons, who served us very kindly. It was a very successful day, in which we could truly enjoy all the rich blessings God has given.
