Tenth day
This morning some of the team went to evangelise inside people's homes. Led by the Holy Spirit they went on a treasure hunt, looking for people who were open to God. The first person was an old man who could not walk; after prayer he was walking laps again.
Then they came to a man who told them he was already reading the Bible, although he was a Hindu. They prayed with him, and he was blessed and filled with the Holy Spirit. At the next house there was a whole family who were blessed, and a young man who was prayed for looked out of completely different eyes after the prayer.
After this a man came up to the team, an alcoholic, who wanted to be set free from it. The spirit of addiction was sent away, but the demon resisted and the man became afraid. Then the demon began to say it was being tormented by the prayer and did not want to come out. The young man panicked and began to cry, but they kept praying. He was asked whether he wanted to renounce his addiction and reject it too. Then the demon shouted out loud: “no!” This was repeated a few more times, and the young man had to say: “I renounce my addiction,” and he was set free. After this the young man asked whether he could be drunk in the Spirit, and straight away he was filled after they blew on him. He lay flat on the ground for 15 minutes. His whole face had changed. His parents were Hindus and, because of all this, wanted to receive prayer too.
In the afternoon we enjoyed some rest and prayed with and for one another. Here too legs were lengthened. In the evening Marjan spoke about facts and truth. She explained that facts change, but the truth always remains. The truth is also more powerful than facts, because you see that Jesus changed facts many times through His truth, which He saw and spoke. So people learned not to look at the facts but to stand in the truth. Once again we were able to minister to people, and there was a woman who could see almost nothing with her left eye and no longer had a right eye. The left eye was completely healed and she could see colours again. She had a white spot in her eye, and it visibly became smaller. Likewise people were set free from demons again. Knee problems, shoulder pain, toothache, jaw pain and back pain were also healed this evening, and people fell in the Spirit again in great numbers. There was also a couple who were deeply touched and shed many tears during the ministry and because of the hugs they received. All in all another successful day with much fruit.
