Thirteenth day

After yet another Buddha festival yesterday, with carts full of bells and whistles, disturbed the whole city, Karel and Marien prayed for the beheading of Buddha. The next day Marien opened his online newspaper, and on the front page it said the largest Buddha had been beheaded by a gust of wind. Remarkable to see an immediate result of our prayer.

In the morning we flew back to Chennai, and on the day of departure we spontaneously had three more times of ministry. We went to a children's home, where we performed sketches, sang and prayed with the children.

Then we were invited to the home of the pastor's son and his family. This couple will soon take over the pastorate from his parents. Karel was spontaneously able to speak during a weekly Zoom meeting with 30 pastors and leaders from North India. After his message about the demonstration of the Kingdom of God, healing was ministered via the livestream. Several people were healed of ailments and pains.

Then we visited another family in the same apartment block and activated them in prophesying over one another. Guided by Marien and Marjan, the son and daughter gave powerful, accurate prophetic words, which encouraged them enormously. Then Karel received a word of knowledge for healing, and we ministered to the grandmother and father with prayer for healing. Grandma had a lot of pain in her knees, back and hips and could barely stand up without help and support. The Spirit came upon her powerfully, so that she fell full length on the floor, and God visibly did a work of healing in her. When she got up she was free of pain and danced happily around the room, to the amazement of the whole family. The joy on her face lit up the whole room and our day.

Then we left for the airport. After a long journey we arrived home safely again. Once more, thank you for all your involvement. We experience that we can do so much more than we think or realise when we walk with the Holy Spirit. An invitation to a fuller travel report will follow soon.
