This morning we went to a school and went round the classes. We taught them songs, prayed for them and performed drama pieces in which we told the Gospel. We also taught them to hear God's voice by taking them into the throne room of God. There the children saw Jesus, smelled flowers and saw the river. They also heard Jesus speak, telling them He loves them and that they may come to Him.
After lunch we hiked in the Himalayas to reach a family who live on the mountain. Our route was steep, and at times the paths were narrow and ran along the ravine. But the view was magnificent! When we arrived, Benjamin asked the Holy Spirit whether He wanted to say something to a particular man. He received the word freedom. It turned out that they had not yet been filled with the Holy Spirit and did not yet speak in tongues. Benjamin and Lydia laid hands on this couple and prayed for them to be filled with the Holy Spirit. After this they began to speak in tongues, and Benjamin taught them about it. Chris received a word of knowledge that someone had back pain. It turned out to be true.
This too was very special, because Lydia had had the same thought just before, and Benjamin had dreamed about it. It was the same man who was filled with the Holy Spirit. After prayer the pain was gone and he could bend down much further than before! The freedom Benjamin prophesied turned out to be both spiritual and physical freedom. We received prophecies and various Bible verses from the Holy Spirit, which we shared. Lydia, among other things, received Psalm 139 for their daughter and told her that she is wonderfully made and that God knows her through and through. In the Name of Jesus we broke the lies in her head that she was not beautiful. Benjamin received the word 'power' for their son and prayed for him. At the same time Chris had Joshua 1:9 on his heart. It fitted together beautifully. We noticed that the Holy Spirit was leading us in what we said, because we complemented each other so well. So once again we could function as the body of Christ and see the Holy Spirit working through us!
