Wednesday

On Wednesday we only had a service in the evening. In the morning we prepared and arranged a few things. Magalie (Pedro's wife) had it on her heart to cook something delicious for us.

Then we drove on to La Romana, where the plan was to give the chaplains training. But communication works a little differently here 😂 When we arrived, it turned out to be an ordinary meeting with children there as well. Donné preached, Marien could add to it beautifully afterwards, and he prophesied over a man... When the service was over and we walked outside, the man came up to us to say that exactly the same had been spoken over him 3 days earlier. Marien talked with him about how it is now up to him whether he walks in it, and they agreed that Marien will check on it when he comes back.

The church was so enthusiastic and really wanted us to come back; unfortunately that was not possible on this trip, but next time we will certainly come back. We asked whether anyone had back pain. 6 people came forward. Marien explained that if you have had back problems for a long time, you may have legs of different lengths. We checked, and 1 woman had a difference in leg length. We prayed with her and her leg grew out. We also prayed for the other 5, and they were all healed.
