Today was another beautiful day! Yesterday we were able to baptise 18 people and pray for them to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Among them were 12 young men we led to the Lord yesterday, and another 6 people we met on the beach and were able to lead to God. Some people received a measure of deliverance and others were healed.

Thankfully we could also squeeze in a lovely swim ourselves in the busy programme.

In the afternoon we were with 90 children and 30 teenage mothers and adults. Marlon led the group enthusiastically, showing the children that it is important to make good choices and have the right people around you. Harm and Jurrien did a sketch with ropes and got completely tangled up, until we called on Jesus, who came to help and set them free. Kevin then briefly told his testimony: that he was a big crook and how Jesus changed his life. Besides the things above, painful things can also simply happen to you in life that hurt your heart. Karel took us back to his childhood and, with a white paper heart, showed how a piece is torn off with each such event. Later in life he came to know Jesus, who made his heart whole again. Suddenly all those pieces were one again; how could that be, the children wondered?! Then we handed out little flags and danced with them, and after that handed out lots and lots of presents.

In the evening we were at a church service in town. Karel spoke and taught about the coming of the kingdom of heaven and our commission to bring heaven to earth. Then he demonstrated it through healings. First Karel gave a call for people with back pain and showed people how this can often be healed: legs of unequal length, made to grow even in Jesus' name. About 10 people were healed, including the pastor, who had been in pain for 20 years; his leg grew out 4 cm and the back pain was completely gone. There was also a woman with a swollen arm who was healed, and another woman with crooked hips that grew straight. It was an amazing evening!
