Friday 9 June
This morning the pastor brought food to our hotel: noodles with peas. After breakfast we left for the town. We walked around for a while and bought a dress. Then we went to the pastor's house, where we prayed for people. Lydia prayed for a woman whose legs grew straight, and the pain in her back and knees disappeared. Benjamin discipled a man and taught him that he can pray just as well as we can, because the Holy Spirit does the work through us. A man who was deaf was also prayed for, and afterwards he could hear again. His neck and arms were also stiff, and after prayer he could move them freely again. All glory to King Jesus!
Then we had a delicious meal: a lentil dish, fried fish with head and tail, and salad. After lunch we made preparations to apply for the visas for Nepal. Then we went to the hotel to rest for a while. After resting we left for a family's little house. There we prayed for people. Four people gave their lives to Jesus. We taught about water baptism, after which the people wanted to be baptised tomorrow. In the house there was also a man who was staying with these people because his wife had run off with another man and his children. We ministered emotional healing and had him picture Jesus and then give his pain to Jesus. He also forgave his wife. After the encounter with Jesus he could no longer find the emotional pain, and his face shone. Jesus took the pain away from him!
